MCP for Office 2007 File Formats

Microsoft Office 2007 introduced the new file format in Word, Excel and Powerpoint as .docx, .xlsx, .pptx respectively. The problem in changing the format is that people cannot open these files with the prior version of like Office 97, 2000, 2003, Xp, because it is not supported in this application.

There is a question on this problem is that, "Should I need to upgrade to Office 2007 edition?". The answer is "NO", where Microsoft introduced the tool called Microsoft Compatibility Pack. It helps to Open, Edit and Save documents, workbooks, and presentations in the older version like .doc, .xls, and .ppt.
